Quiet side Campground and Cabins is the smallest campground on Mt. Desert Island, with only 37 sites. Located in the southwest corner of the island, we are on the "quiet side". Mostly geared towards tenters, there are a few RV sites with 30 Amp service and water hook ups for small trailers. We also have 9 rental cabins, each with a separate private area. All tent sites are well screened and have tent platforms. We are truly unique in that although we have amenities, your camping experience will be away from the crowds and the level of privacy you desire.
